When I was a young teenager I used to accompany my father Richard (Dick) Ellis and Dick Cummins in the early morning hours to Tom's house and from there we would head up to the woods in Redfield to cut wood all day long. I don't remember much about Tom just the early morning meetings and then spending the day in the woods with the men cutting wood. Had my first sip of beer in the woods with these fine gentlemen.
