I played for many years with Lester on the Samurai softball team. He was not only a great player, he was a great person. He was respected as a player and as a person by all his teammates.

So sorry to hear about Lester`s passing, I go way back with Lester to the days of LL in Mexico when we were on opposing teams & although I didn`t see him around much when I did he was always so friendly & one time we rode in the same golf cart in a tournament & had a great time. My sympathy goes out to his whole family at this most difficult of times, he passed way too soon. RIP Lester

Wishing peace and comfort to Lester’s loving family, and thanks to the man himself for making life much more fun and interesting for so many of us. I have fond memories growing up with Lester and Helena just up the road, spending time with our family, with my Dad and Lester enjoying so many things together, beyond just fishing and softball, but also clearing snow, trekking for groceries during the blizzards, and fixing things. I remember his hearty laugh and story telling style, and I’m grateful that I was lucky enough to grow up with such an authentic and down-to-earth man like Lester as part of my world. RIP, big guy, you’re loved by many.

Lester was such a nice man, loved talking with him at MACS sporting events, our thoughts and Prayers with all his family members.
