Herbert Ward passed away on May 21, 2021 at Onondaga Center in Minoa, NY. Born in Ogdensburg to Frank and Sarah, he was raised on the St. Lawrence River and was schooled in LaFargeville. After completing his service in the Navy, he moved to Liverpool, and spent his entire career at Borden Research Center. After retirement, he worked for many years at Lock 24 in Baldwinsville doing maintenance - a job he loved as he was near the water again. Herb was predeceased by his parents, his brother David, and his longtime companion, Lois Cox. He is survived by his daughters Amy (Dave), Karen, and Brenda (Tom) as well as ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and his sister-in-law Alice.

Services are private. Arrangements are in care of Harter Funeral Home, Inc. Mexico, NY.
