Helen M. DeSantis, 74 of Hastings, NY; passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at her home. She was born in Hastings, NY; daughter of the late William and Marion Ward Rice.

Helen worked as a School Bus Driver for the Central Square School District and President of the Bus Drivers Association.

She is pre-deceased by a brother, Raymond; and her daughter, Carrie.

Helen is survived by her husband of 47 years, Mark B. DeSantis; her son, Mark W. DeSantis; three grandchildren, Paige, Evelyn and Harper; two brothers, Leonard (Sharon) Rice and Gordon (Patricia) Rice; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 13, 2023 from Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 2983 W. Main Street, Parish, NY. Interment will be in Hastings Cemetery, Hastings, NY. Relatives and Friends are invited to call from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2022 at the funeral home.
