Vann Chapman (Bear) 53, of Mexico NY; passed away unexpectedly on July 31, 2021 at Oswego hospital. Vann worked for over 25 years as a welder fitter at industrial fabrication in East Syracuse before changing careers to CITI BOCES in Mexico.
He loved to spend his free time hunting, fishing and camping in the Adirondacks with family and friends. Vann is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Irene Chapman, son Brian Chapman, daughter Robyn Chapman, his step father Rickey Schuler, Two sisters, One brother and Four grandchildren.
Friends and Family are invited to call from 12 to 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico, NY.
