Obituary for Tracy A. Bronner

In Loving Memory
Tracy A. Bronner
Born July 14, 1971, died June 27, 2023

Tracy died as a result of a motorcycle accident near his home in Selma, North Carolina. He was on his way to work at Ardagh in Wilson, NC.

At approximately 5:55 a.m. while driving on Route 42 eastbound, a vehicle pulled in front of him from a crossroad (Route 222) Tracy crashed into that car and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of that car was ticketed for failure to yield, and being an unlicensed driver. He was jailed and charged with causing the death by motor vehicle. Tracy was in no way at fault.

Tracy had found happiness in the Carolina's with his soulmate Jennifer. They originally left central NY to be near Jennifer's children and grandchildren in the Myrtle Beach area. The lure of a job in Wilson led to the move a few hours north to Selma, NC.

Tracy is survived by his wife of 4 days, Jennifer (Parker) Bronner; his son Devon James Bronner (Brittany) of Orlando Florida; step children, Cassondra (Steven) Rogers, Sydney Parker and Devon Rogers; his South Carolina grandchildren; Lawson, Savannah, Henry, Izzy, Eli and Maverick; his parents, Tom and Mary Ann (Landers) Bronner; brothers, Tom Bronner Jr. (Missy), Jason Bronner (Allison), and his favorite sister Jody Reber, all from the Central Square area; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Tracy was predeceased by his grandparents, William and Roseann Bronner and Francis and Mary Landers, both families being from East Syracuse and most recently by brother in-law Mike Reber who was standing by heaven’s gate waiting to show Tracy the ropes.

Tracy was a sports fan and a sportsman. He played high school sports, he was a hunter, he was a youth hockey coach, and an avid Yankees fan. He was a NY hunter safety instructor, a past member of the North Sportsmen Club and The Mad River Club. He was a member of “The Punishers” motorcycle club, the membership being made up of law enforcement and veterans.

Tracy was a veteran of the Gulf War. He served in the U.S. Navy on the “USS Thomas S Gates”. He was a graduate of the Central Square School District and held a degree in human resources from Syracuse University. Tracy worked various management positions most notably at Chrysler's New Process Gear Plant in East Syracuse, also Owens Illinois in Auburn and Guardian Glass in Geneva. His most recent employment was at Ardagh where he was a maintenance manager.
