Thomas M. Schill, 60, known to friends as “Timber Tom”, passed away in Rome on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 after many years of complications from a stroke in 2012.

Tom grew up in Hastings, NY. Immediately after high school he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps where he served his country for 4 years. He later moved to Tully, NY where he worked for Paul Bunyan Products. His passions were hunting and fishing.

He is predeceased by his parents Beverly and Joseph Schill. Tom will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Brenda, Scott, Dan (Gwen), Robert (Erin) and greatly missed by his 6 nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 2983 W. Main Street, Parish NY. Friends and family are invited to call from 1 to 2 p.m., at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Interment will take place at the Carley Mills Cemetery in Hastings, NY at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2019. A celebration of life party held in Tom’s remembrance will immediately follow at 4 p.m. at 2058 Route 11, Hastings NY.
