Sharon Marie Pfister Senecal

Sharon Marie Pfister Senecal, 79, from Alexandria Bay, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2019 with her family by her side. She retired from Oswego County BOCES in 1997, spending many years in Hudson, Florida before returning to Central Square to be closer to her family. She enjoyed crafting, puzzles, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her mother and stepfather, Ray and Leah Whitbeck, sisters Mary Rowland and Elizabeth Lockwood, and brother Donald Pfister.

She is survived by her husband Bernard, whom she was married to for 60 wonderful years; children Tammy, Anthony (Carla), and Julie Hart (Larry); grandchildren Nicholas, Jenny, Jessica, Leah, Lawrence, Joshua, and Megan; great-grandchildren Hendrix and Caroline; siblings Caroline Kernehan, Arlene Pfister, and Russell Pfister (Suzanne).

A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Divine Mercy Parish in Central Square from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated immediately after. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Crouse Hospital’s Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit for their exceptional care. Arrangements are in the trusted care of the Harter Funeral Home, 2983 W. Main Street, Parish NY.
