Sarah J. (Boyce) Johnson
January 16, 2023
Sarah J. (Boyce) Johnson, 94 of Central Square, NY; passed away Monday January 16, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born in Fulton, daughter of the late Lyle N. and Helen Mott Boyce. She was the Town Clerk for the town of Hastings and the Tax Collector for many years. She was a communicant of Devine Mercy Parish of Central Square and the Catholic Daughter Court #833.
Sarah is predeceased by her husband Robert Howard Johnson who passed April 29, 2004.
Sarah is survived by her two sons, James (Kathy) Johnson of South Carolina and Lyle (Erin) Johnson of Central Square and two grandchildren Keith and Scott Johnson. A special thank you to Colleen Armani for her years of friendship and care for our mother.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Divine Mercy Parish Central Square, NY in the Spring at a time to be announced. Burial will be in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery Parish NY. Arrangements are in care of Harter Funeral Home, Inc. Parish NY.
In lieu of flowers a donation would be appreciated made out to Divine Mercy Parish 592 S. Main Street, Central Square NY 13036.
