We Will Miss You Always… Mom, Granny and GG!

June 25, 1955 - May 18, 2020

Sandra L. (Landphere) Ager, 64, of Oswego, NY; passed away peacefully on May 18th, 2020, in Syracuse, NY in the love and comfort of her children with a big smile. Sandy was born on June 25th, 1955 in Oswego, NY. She is a former member of the Oswego Assembly of God. She loved to play Bingo, over-nights at the Casino, Farkle and Skip-Bo. She loved to garden in her younger days and sunbathe with her kids by her side. She enjoyed spending time with her friend Jeff, her children, grandchildren (known to them as Granny) and great-grandchildren (known to them as GG). She loved to take walks at the park with the great-grandchildren.

She was pre-deceased by her forever loving husband Charles L. Landphere, Sr. June 17, 1992. Now they are dancing together under the harvest moon and hanging out at the railroad tracks like a couple of young lovers. She is also pre-deceased by her sister Cheryl Ann Stevens and her parents Robert and Sarah Stevens and her niece, Heather Stevens.

Sandy is survived by her children, Shayna (John) Gersch Bridgeport, NY, Cheryl (Craig) Maxfield of Mexico, NY and Charles Landphere, Jr. of Billerica, MA, her grandchildren Sabrina and Ashley Landphere, Marcus Gersch, three great-grandchildren and one more that was on the way as well as her brothers and sisters Donna DeGraw, William Stevens, Robert Stevens, Lucinda Landphere and Donald Stevens; many nieces and nephews.

Sandra was a loving Wife, Sister, Mom, friend to many and a Grandmother to many more. She will be remembered for her willingness to give even if that meant she would be without. Her heart was pure even on days she would press her children whom she loved dearly! Her eyes and smile could light up the room and to see her excitement made you laugh.

A funeral will not be take place but a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date/time. To leave a memory or condolence for Sandy’s family, please click the Condolences & Tributes button above. Also, please share your photos, videos and stories with the above button. In lieu of flowers, Sandy would have appreciated donations be made to continue helping others like area food banks or mental health awareness. Please plant a tree or flowers. She loved Lilac Bushes!
