This weekend I had to say goodbye to one of the kindest, accepting, most humble human beings I have ever known. My Aunt Roxy was such a beautiful person on the insides and out. She was my mother's little sister and they were a lot alike. After my mother died, I often went to aunt Roxy for advice, recipes, gardening tips and just to chat. She was a hard worker and she loved her garden. She adored her dogs, camping at Bernard's and Brad's, planning her dream camp she owned with her niece Barb, and researching our ancestors. She loved finding a good bargain and she spent a lot of time at Benny's auction. She was a gifted artist and painted the most beautiful pictures on saw blades. She also quilted and did crafts, these were hobbies she also did with my mother when she was alive. She was such a gentle soul with a heart of gold. I love you aunt Roxy and I will miss you dearly.
