Ronal R Clark, 86, passed away on March 5, 2023.

Ron was born in Mexico on the family farm in 1936. He was predeceased by his parents Herbert A and Elizabeth L Clark and his brothers Herbert V Clark and Earl Clark.

Ron graduated from Mexico Academy in 1954. During school Ron was a letterman Basketball and Football player. He was also an Empire Farmer in the FFA and a member of the Farm Bureau. Upon graduation Ron was a member of the Oswego Young Co-Ops and served as president from 1954 to 1956. Ron worked the 128 acre family dairy farm as well as operating a farm to plant milk pick-up route. Ron then worked for the Ironworkers Local 60 from 1960 to 1985, travelling to various areas of New York State. After retiring from the Local 60, Ron started to drive school bus for the Mexico School District. During his 22 years driving bus, Ron was known to his school kids and their parents as "Captain Ron".

Ron was a member and served as vice president and president of the Mexico Lions Club in the mid 1970's. He also served as the president of the Pulaski Lions Club from 2016-2019.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nancy (Sims), his children Dawn Rivers, Kevin Clark and Renee Clark. Ron has 6 grandchildren, Elizabeth (Rich) Stone, Andrew (Amara) Rivers, Brooke (Andrew) Rivers, Keely (Brent) Moore, Kristopher Clark and Kara Clark. Ron also has 11 great grandchildren who were the lights of his life.

Per his wishes, there won't be any services but there will be a Celebration of Life for Ron on April 1, 2023, from 2-5pm at the Wilcox Hall in the First Presbyterian Church; 4361 Church Street, Mexico New York. Arrangements are in care of Harter Funeral Home, Inc. Mexico, NY.
