In Loving Memory of Robin Lee (Battles) Seaman

NEW HAVEN — Robin Lee (Battles) Seaman, 56, of New Haven, passed away unexpectedly on May 17, 2019 at Oswego Hospital.

Born in Auburn, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Marion (Taylor) Battles.

Robin was an LPN at St Luke Health Services for 16 years. This was not just a job for her, she considered the staff and residents as an extension of her family.

Robin loved with all her heart. She was a member of Harmony Riders horseback riding club, the Oswego County Fair Assoc. and The Grange. These organizations will forever be changed due to the dedication and efforts of Robin. She was always there to give encouraging words, a smile, lend a hand, cooking, and enjoyed trips to the Casino. More than anything, she loved her family and cherished her time with them. She was a loving wife and faithful partner.

Surviving is her husband of 19 years Timothy J. Seaman of New Haven, her beloved daughter Melissa (Battles) Hamilton and Son in Law Justin Godfrey of the town of New Haven and the joys of her life, her two grandsons Jordan Hamilton, sixteen and Jack Godfrey four months. Also surviving are three brothers; Robert Battles Jr of Oswego, John Battles of Jacksonville, Florida and Wally Battles of Ocala Florida.


Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, from the Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico, NY; followed by Interment in the Mexico Village Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the funeral home. Following Interment on Wednesday, there will be a gathering to celebrate Robin’s life at 1 p.m. at the Mexico VFW, Edick-Hamlink Post #369, 5930 Scenic Avenue, Mexico, NY.
