Robert Yager, Sr.

Robert Yager, Sr. 90, of Parish, NY, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019. Born and raised in Liverpool, NY; he was the son of Fred and Vera Yager. Robert was married on June 26, 1948 to Joyce Ebeling, of Fayetteville, NY, who passed away in February 2017. They are together at home, with the lord.

Robert served in the US Army as a Combat Engineer during the Korean War. He worked as a Construction Supervisor at Miller Homes for 25 years and was a gentleman Farmer in Parish, since 1962.

Robert survived by, his two sons, Robert (Joan) Yager, Jr. of Parish, NY and Jeff (Becky) Yager, of Eloy, AZ; his daughter, Ellen (Gary) Chapman, of Greer, SC; and his brother, Jack (Carol) Flynn, of Liverpool, NY. He was a proud grandfather of nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday February 2, 2019 from the Fellowship Baptist Church, 2604 US Route 11, Parish, NY. Friends and family are invited to call from 12 to 2 p.m. at the church, prior to the service. There will be a reception at the church following the funeral service. Funeral arrangements are in the trusted care of the Harter Funeral Home, 2983 W. Main Street, Parish, NY.
