Robert Keith Wood Jr. “Woody”, 58 of Lacona, NY; passed away peacefully at the Oswego Hospital on November 1, 2023 surrounded by all of his loved ones. Bobby was born on June 7, 1965 to Diane and Robert K. Wood Sr.

Bobby grew up in Mexico, NY and later moved to Lacona, NY where he lived for many years. He would enjoy his time at The Central shooting darts, playing pool and visiting with many friends.

Growing up Bobby enjoyed cross country track and wood working, which he excelled in. Some of Bobby’s happiest memories were spent living at Mexico Point, where he raised his daughter with his longtime girlfriend Kelly Rossi (Robinson) and eventually becoming a grandfather. Bobby enjoyed Hunting, listening to great music, scenic drives and using his artistic skills. Above all things Bobby loved spending time with his family. He was a devoted son, a beloved father and a doting grandfather.

Bobby worked for the Mexico School District for some years before moving to Oswego Quality Carpets where he worked installing carpets and floors.

Left to cherish his memories Bobby is survived by his parents Robert K. Wood Sr. and Diane Wood of Mexico, NY; his beloved daughter Jessica M. Redhead and son in law Robin L. Redhead Jr. of Oswego; both of his grandchildren Dylan T. Redhead and Jennica E. Redhead; sisters Crystal Wood of Mexico NY and Kimberly Jenkins of TN; cousin Billy (Ellen) Francis and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2023 from St. Anne Mother of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 3352 Main Street, Mexico, NY. Interment will be in Maple View Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico, NY.
