Richard L. Evans, Jr. 76, of Pulaski, NY; passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the VA Medical Center Hospice Unit in Syracuse, NY. He was born on March 6, 1946 in Niagara Falls, NY; son of the late Richard L. and Lydia DeFiore Evans, Sr.

He graduated from Oswego High School. He worked as a Warehouse Manager of several warehouses before retiring. He loved spending time with his wife, Yvonne at different water sites while reading scripture, watching ducks and boats. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Pulaski, NY.

Richard is survived by his wife of 32 years, Yvonne Redhead Evans. He was previously married to Deanna Stanford, which ended in divorce. He is also survived by Kimberley Randall, of Louisiana, Penny Scott of New York and Lisa Harding of New York and his half brother, Charlie (Sandi), of Canada; along with several children and great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be celebrated at 12 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2022 in Union Settlement, West Monroe. A Celebration of Richard’s Life will be held 1:30 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 53 Nelson Ave. Pulaski, NY with a reception to follow from 3 to 5 p.m. Arrangements are in care of Harter Funeral Home, Inc. Parish, NY.
