In Loving Memory of Rhonda J. Williams

Rhonda Jane Williams, age 57, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Manor at Seneca Hill, Oswego. She was born on June 26, 1962 in Walton, NY to Robert Green and Lorna Ives. She was a lifetime resident of Mexico where she was a 1980 graduate of Mexico High School. She married James R. Williams on September 1, 2001. She worked as a Teacher’s Aide for Mexico Academy and Central School District. Rhonda was an avid sewer, painter, knitter and crafter. She loved canning, baking and cooking for her friends and family. She was very active in her community with the Music Boosters, Dollars for Scholars, AmeriCorps, PopWarner Cheerleading, and Girl Scouts where she held the honor of Girl Scouts first class.

She is survived by her husband, James R. Williams, her children, Patrick (Amanda Korenini) Widell, Christopher (Sarah Marie) Widell, Morgan Williams, Shania (Keith Geer) Williams. Step Son Jeremy (Alex) Williams and grandsons Hayden Combs and Hunter Geer. Siblings Kevin “Mark” Green Sr., Shawn (Nicole) Green, and Bobbi (David) Cicio as well as many nieces, nephews, and great nieces. She was predeceased by her father, Robert L. Green, mother, Lorna J. Wormuth, and her sister, Sheri Green.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 6, 2019 at 5pm at the Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Washington Avenue in Mexico. A calling hour will be held from 4-5pm prior to the services. In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted and applied to a memorial fund in her honor.
