RAYMOND W. PAPPA
January 26, 2020

Raymond W. Pappa, 80 of Pulaski passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the Oswego Hospital. He was born August, 4, 1939 in Rome NY son of the late Wallace R. and Mildred E. (Balcom) Pappa. He married Irene Trumble in Williamstown, NY on July 9, 1960. Raymond was a member of Boilermakers Local # 175, Oswego, NY. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Pulaski, NY. He was a Hunter Safety Trainer and Instructor. He was a Boy Scout Leader and coached Little League and Senior Little League for many years. He was a volunteer, driver and EMT with N.O.C.A. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, snowmobiling, four-wheel riding, bird watching and was a member of several sportsman clubs.

Raymond is predeceased by his siblings; Stewart, Shirley, James, Janice, Reginald and a great-grandchild Jude.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Irene Trumble Pappa; a daughter, Debra Herrington of North Carolina; a son, William (Diane) Pappa of Utah; six grandchildren, Katie, Cortney, Jessica, Casey, Kelsey, Kassey; eleven great-grandchildren, Mia, Zoe, Cora, Lexi, Kayden, Piper, William, Abraham Crue, Darcy, Winston; and his brother, Gary (Sandie) of Rockstream.

Funeral services will be at 6 P.M. Thursday, January 30, 2020 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 53 Nelson Ave, Pulaski, NY. Spring Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Altmar, NY. Friends and Family are invited to call from 4 to 6 P.M. Thursday, at the Church prior to the service. Arrangements are in care of Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico, NY.

In lieu of flowers contribution may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of CNY.
