Raymond Lee Michel, 97, of Oswego, NY; died Monday, September 23, 2019 at the Oswego Hospital, Oswego, NY. Born in East Syracuse, the son of the late John and Bertha Gagner Michel.

Raymond was a US Army Air Corps Veteran. He was a Machinist worker for Oswego Package Boiler Company. He was an avid hunter, bowler and golfer.

He was pre-deceased in death by, his wife, Neva in 2014.

Raymond is survived by, four daughters, Darlene Woolson, Diane Oaksford, Debra Ogborn and Donna Walts; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; along with his sister, Evelyn Klasmier.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Friday, September 27, 2019 from St. Anne Mother of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Mexico, NY. Interment will be in Vermillion Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico, NY.
