Pierre F. Rutherford, 50, of Mexico, NY; passed away, Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at his home. He was born in Plant City, Florida; son of Raynell and Autherine Bernard Rutherford.

Pierre retired from the U.S. Army after 21 years of service and five overseas tours.

Pierre is survived by, his wife of 22 years, Virginia Dana Rutherford; his son, Winston Rutherford; his daughter, Abby Rutherford; his father, Raynell Rutherford and brother, Jairus Rutherford.

Graveside services with full Military Honors will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday August 14, 2019, in Maplewood Cemetery, Mannsville, NY. Friends and family are invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at the Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Washington Avenue Mexico, NY.
