Condolences to the family of Paul Anderson. I have not seen Paul in close to 50 years. He sat behind me in Mr. Wandesee’s math class at MACS where we would spend the time sending notes back and forth, sometimes almost making me laugh out loud. I am sure he was a jokester throughout his life. When my father passed away a few years ago, Paul wrote a condolence which touched my heart. I also ran into his brother, Tom, at that time as I was back and forth to the hospital for my father before his passing. Both Anderson boys provided comfort in those times of sadness, numbness, and feeling overwhelmed. It is my hope that Paul’s family find that same comfort. Fifty years ago I would never have imagined Paul as a family man, nor a man who lived his life through his spirituality, but I am happy that he found his joy in life.
