Obituary for Nancy Ann Bruinsma

In Loving Memory
Nancy A. Bruinsma
March 22, 2023

Nancy Ann (Tully) Bruinsma left behind her earthly home to her final resting place in heaven on March 22 2023. Born in Brooklyn, NY on June 3, 1936 to William and Veronica Tully. Nancy lived in Syracuse throughout her teenage years where she graduated from East Syracuse High School-recognized as a member of the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra and National Honor Society.

Nancy's memory is shown through her deeply seeded belief of service to others. Working throughout her life as a nurse, a public servant and a foster mother to 21 children. Just as Nancy tended to those around her, she continued doing so through her love of nature and gardening each year.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 68 years, James Carrol Bruinsma; their daughters, Mary, Judy and Veronica; their sons, James, Jeffery and Clifford as well as their grandchildren and extended family.

It is with great love that we say goodbye in this lifetime, until we meet again.

Funeral services will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m. Monday March 27, 2023 from Harter Funeral Home, Inc. Mexico, NY. Relatives and Friends are invited to call from 3-5 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Spring Burial will be in Mexico Village Cemetery.
