Nancy S. Baratier, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, daughter and friend; died on Thursday, August 11, 2022, surrounded by family.

Born June 19, 1936, Nancy was a graduate of Keuka College with a degree in English-Journalism.

Nancy was an artist, a writer, a reader, a naturalist, a gardener, a bird lover, a creator of beauty, a strong and gentle spirit with tireless hands and a kind, gracious attitude towards everyone.

Nancy had a gift for making everyone feel welcomed and cared for. She was a steadfast, powerful force for good in our family and in the world. She is deeply loved, deeply missed and will be well remembered.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 63 years, Paul L. Baratier, Jr., six children and their spouses, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a brother, two sisters-in-law, along with nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Services will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from Harter Funeral Home, Inc. Parish, NY. Interment to follow in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 12 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pleasant Lawn Cemetery or the charity of your choice.
