Michael Robert Landphere, 67, of Cole Road, Mexico passed away Saturday February 23, 2019.

He leaves his wife, Ellen J. Landphere and fur kid Bodie; sons Michael L. (Erica), Robert B. (Jessica), and Timothy J.; daughter Pamela J. (Brandon) Batchelor; siblings Linda (Bob) Ingerson, Judy Bunnell, Carl (Debbie), Robert Jr. (Nikki) and David; many nieces and nephews, and best friend and hunting buddy of many years Terry P. Cronon.

He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Isabelle and a brother, Charlie.

Mike was a Vietnam Veteran who proudly served his country. He considered himself a “Jack of all trades, master of most”. He enjoyed following numerous sports but was happiest when he was in the woods. Camouflage truly was his favorite color.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2019 from the Harter Funeral Home, 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico, NY. Friends and family are invited to call from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.

After the service, a celebration of life will be held at VFW Post 369, 5931 Scenic Ave., Mexico. Please join us for a pot luck in his honor. (The hall will be accessible prior to calling hours if you wish to drop off food in advance).
