Obituary for Micah Philip Taylor

Micah Philip Taylor
March 25, 2019

On March 25, 2019, Micah Philip Taylor was born sleeping in this life but alive and rejoicing in the arms of Jesus. Although we were never able to meet you, you were wrapped in love from the moment we learned you were to join our family. Micah’s brief life in this world was precious, and as his family, we eagerly anticipate that day, when, as Revelation 21:4 says, “He (being God) will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death, sadness, crying, or pain. For the old things have passed away.” And although today “your absence is like the sky, spread over everything”, one day soon “we will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” Psalm 27:13 We will see you and wrap our arms around you and the empty place you have left will be filled. Until that day, Psalm 56:8 says “(Oh Lord) You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all of my tears in Your bottle. You have recorded each of them in Your book.” Well, little one, I hope your bedtime story is that book filled with our love for you, and if there are extra puddles to jump in, that’s from us too, because surely Heaven is overflowing right now. We are sad that we have to wait to meet you, but rejoice that you are in the arms of Jesus, with never a tear shed. Sleep tight, sweet boy.
