Megan E. DeLong – Hahn, 38, of Mexico, NY; passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022.
She was born on January 23, 1984 in Syracuse, NY, daughter of Andrea DeLong and Gerald Hahn.

She attended and graduated from Mexico Academy and Central Schools and Cayuga Community College. She and Thomas Trainham had a daughter, Emma G. Trainham. Megan’s goal in life was to make sure her daughter had a good life. She loved the water and flowers. She couldn’t keep flowers alive, so she would pick wild ones. Water was soothing to her and you could find her sitting at Ramona Beach, waiting for the waves to come in.

Meg was like a butterfly, flitting around to taste everything that life had to offer. She will be truly missed.

Megan is survived by, her daughter, Emma; her father, Gerald Hahn; step-mother, Patricia Hahn; mother, Andrea DeLong; her brothers, Jerry (Cheryl) Hahn, Marc Hahn, Ted (Holly Hutyera) Hahn, Steven (Courtney) DeLong and Justin Stills; her sister, Cathy Brown; nephews, Rian DeLong, Tyler Hahn, Sam Hahn, Andrew DeLong, Merith Hutyera and Dylan Brown; her nieces, Aletta (James) Simpson and Francesca Brown.

Funeral Services will be celebrated at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 with Pastor Karen Green officiating from Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico NY. Relatives and Friends are invited to call from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
