We would like to share our sympathy with Gordie/Judy (my sister) and Michael/Patricia and family !! We are so very sorry for your loss, May God give you strength during this difficult time. We always enjoyed the times we were out to her home for the holidays, the meals she put on were amazing.. Mary would also come and share time with our family, whether it was for a holiday or just a get together.. The stories she would tell always kept us laughing or taught us about life lessons and the way things were. She played games like Yahtzee or cards and she was very good at both.. It won't be the same anymore and she will be missed.. Mary was a kind soul and a joy to be around.. Rest in Peace Mary, you worked hard and deserve the rest. Love, Hugs and Prayers Joan and Bob Garrand

Gord, Mike, Larry and family. Lee and I are so sorry at the passing of Mary. I have so many memories, walking the beach in Texas, trips to Florida , Arizona, shopping not stopping at every yard sell we passed I think one of my favourites was stand on a sandbar at Grand Cayman feeding string rays. Every now and then I would grab the back of her life jacket and pull her back before she stepped off the sandbar following the rays. She would forget she couldn't swim, I would see her up to her chin in the water totally unconcerned in her quest to pet a ray and go after her again. She will always be a second mom, sister and best friend. In our family we have a tradition using our loved ones name. Not being there today to share this in person I decided to put it here. M - mother, very proud mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. A - active , Mary was always active on the go. Never one to sit still for long R - running , she was always in a hurry at 100 miles an hour either driving or on foot. An more if she was going to a yard sale or auction. Y - youthful, until the last few years no one ever thought of Mary as being her age, she always appeared much younger. P - proud - of her family, their accomplishments R - ruthless - when bartering at at Mexican market or a yard sale. O - opinionated - Mary was not shy at expressing her opinions S - smart - Mary never thought she was smart because her formal education was cut short, but smart she was. She helped Gordon establish a good business, she started a successful catering business, took and many challenges in life. S - special - she was a very special person that we will never forget E - energetic - she had more energy than most people half her age. R - reliable, - if she said she would do something or help with something you could count on it. It would be remiss on my part if I didn't mention her love of her Pugs. They were a very big part of her life over the years. My thought and prayers are with you today. Love and Hugs

Mary Prosser was an example of the good that God put on this earth. She was kind, loving, & had the best memory of anyone I knew. No matter how much time went on, she always remembered which "one of the Garlock kids" I was. It was amazing! Her smile & great personality made it a privilege to know her. She made this world a better place.
