Mary Jane Sacco Pizzuto passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday, May 28, 2022

Mary Jane was born in Syracuse, NY on February 7, 1928 to Mary Heffsher and Anthony Sacco. She married Frank A. Pizzuto, who pre-deceased her in 2017 on April 19, 1954. Mary Jane worked at Smith-Corona in Syracuse for eight years, and after that operated the Elms Golf Course with her husband, cooking in the restaurant for over 60 years. She and Frank were congregants of St. John the Evangelist church in Pulaski, NY and she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society for many years. In later years, she and Frank resided in Melbourne, FL and were congregants of Our Lady of Lourdes.

Mary Jane is survived by her children Frank (Carol), Grace (Michael Fox), Linda (Russell Hilton), and Thomas (Alicia); grandchildren Scott and Kim Hilton, Brian Armstead, Michael and Jennifer Pizzuto, Sunshine Hilton, Ashley Decker, Zachary Hilton; great-grandchild Cameron Hilton; sister-in-law Grace Fahey; and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2022 from Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 23 Niagara Street, Pulaski NY. Calling Hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church, prior to the service. Arrangements are in care of Harter Funeral Home, Inc. Mexico, NY.
