Mary L. Bobanick, 70, Parish, NY; died Thursday, September 19, 2019. Born in Williamstown, NY, she was a mother, housewife, a CNA, and a Physical Therapist Aide. She was a member of the Board of Trustees at the West Amboy Community Church, where she helped with dinners and events. She helped care for family members when they were ill.

She attended Altmar Parish and Williamstown Central Schools and graduated from Alexandria, VA school. She received her CNA Certification in Renovo, PA; where she worked at Bucktail Medical Center for 25 years. During this time, she also ran a Hunters Camp Bed and Breakfast.

Mary is survived by, her children, Joe Bobanick of Syracuse, NY and Nancy Bobanick of Parish, NY; her beloved grandson, Jason Bobanick of Parish, NY; sister, Judith Ingraham, of Hanawa Falls, NY; brother Richard Pietroski, of Syracuse, NY; along with many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was pre-deceased in death by, her husband, Joe Bobanick; her son, Robert Bobanick; her sisters Una Blanche Peters, Patricia Ellen Shumway; brothers, Raymond Frank Pietroski, John Joseph Pietroski, Keith Laverne Wheelock; and 4 half-brothers and one half-sister.


A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the West Amboy Community Church. Interment will be at a time to be announced. Arrangements are in the Trusted Care of the Harter Funeral Home, 2983 W. Main Street, Parish, NY.
