Markus G. Muckey, 71, of Parish, NY; died Friday, April 12, 2019 at the Oswego Hospital, Oswego, NY. He was a Navy and Marine Corps. Veteran for 17 years, serving in Vietnam. Markus enjoyed fishing, playing cards and bingo and visiting with friends and family.

He was pre-deceased by his parents, John and Evelyn Muckey; his brother, Ian Muckey; and his sister, Cheryl Teeple.

Markus is survived by, his wife, Mary; his daughter, Janice (Corey) Weaver; sons, Markus (Annie) Muckey, Jr. and Matthew (Jaime) Muckey; sisters, Lorraine (Ronald) Ukleya and Gail Muckey; brothers, Donald (Joan) Muckey and Loren Muckey; as well as 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2019 from the Dugway United Methodist Church, 1722 NY-104, Parish, NY 13131. Friends and family are invited to call at the church from 4 to 6 p.m. prior to the service. Arrangements are in the Trusted Care of the Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 2983 W. Main Street, Parish NY.
