Marilyn "Mimi" Longley Sachel, 91 of Boynton Beach, Florida, formerly of Mexico and Fair Haven New York, died at home on April 28, 2023 surrounded by her family.

She was born in Auburn New York to the late George and Harriette Longley. She graduated from Red Creek High School class of 1949, attended the State University of Plattsburgh New York nursing program and completed RN degree in 1953. She was a communicant of St Anne Mother of Mary, New York and Saint Mark, Boynton Beach Catholic Churches.

Mimi is survived by her children Tracy (Joseph)Tagliareni, Boynton Beach, FL, George Chris (Wendy) Sachel, Fulton, NY, and Susan (Mark) Potter, Dallas,TX, and nine grandchildren; Richard Tagliareni, Thomas Tagliareni, Stephanie Sachel, Alexandra Sachel, Kyle Potter, Ryan Potter, Mary Potter, Hayden Sachel and Sydney Sachel and 2 great grandchildren, James and George Potter, and several nieces and nephews.. She is predeceased by her husband George C. Sachel, sister Nan Ormsby, brother Dan Longley.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 17, 2023 from St. Anne Mother of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Mexico, NY. Interment will follow in Mexico Village Cemetery, Mexico, NY. Arrangements in care of Harter Funeral Home, Inc. Mexico, NY.
