Marcia (Marcy) A. Phillips, 56, Peru, NY formerly from Oswego, NY passed away peacefully in Vermont with family at her bedside on Monday, April 1st after a brief illness. She was born on September 21, 1967 to the late Richard and Patricia Phillips. She lived most of her adult life in the Oswego area before moving north approximately 11 years ago. Marcy graduated from Mexico High School and Alfred State College. She worked at various nursing facilities throughout her nursing career providing care to so many, most recently at Plattsburgh Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Marcy is survived by her two daughters, Jolene Phillips of Plattsburgh and Mikayla (Collin Miller) Skinner of Oswego and five grandchildren, Shelbie, Cayden, Dakota, Mikey, and Evangelene. In addition, she is survived by her twin sister, Darcia (Mike Mulcahey) Phillips, sisters Kimberly (Bruce) Hyde and Crystal (Joe Cash) Lane, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother in law, Michael Boyer and her beloved fur baby, Bella.

Funeral Services will be celebrated at 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from the First United Methodist Church in Lycoming, NY. Relatives and Friends are invited to a Calling Hour from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the church, prior to the service. Arrangements are in care of Harter Funeral Home, Inc. Mexico, NY.
