Our love and prayers go out to the Loren Teachout family especially Lee and his family. My husband and I both remember him at Walkers Cleaners years ago! Sounds like you all have great memories to hold on to. Praise the Lord for that! May God bless and keep you all! From

Hi Florence,
I was so sad about Loren passing. I remember when you were so happy to reconnect with him, it’s a nice story. Wow married 18 years! So happy for you both. I’ve been in the shop lately, and met the girls running the shop. Very knowledgable and friendly!!. I hope he had some retirement. I always like liked him, a true soul.
I don’t know if you knew me. I also worked at Schoeller, I was at the receptionist. My prays go out to you and the rest of the family. Take care of your self. Jane Forcione From

So very sorry to hear of Loren's passing. He is rejoicing and playing with the greatest and best gospel bluegrass band now. I always have fond memories of the square dances at Port Ontario. What fun we had! Loren's sense of humor made everything more fun. My prayers are with your family at this time of sorrow. From

Thank you Loren for your decades of preserving and playing oldtime country music as a member of the beloved Salmon River Boys. Through your square dances, concerts, and radio & television appearances for almost half a century you entertained and amused thousands of people. And you performed at EVERY Bluegrass Ramble Picnic! Now the original Salmon River Boys--you, your Dad Rex and your Uncle Hugh Hilton in Fiddlers' Green can play your precious music forever. Condolences to Lee,Flo and all the Teachout family members! From

I worked for Loren for 16 years, He was the most genuinely kind caring person always had a joke or a " Lorenism" to share. You really had to know Loren to understand his qwerky sense of humor. We spent many hours talking about everything under the sun but one of his favorite topics was his bluegrass music I'm really going to miss our conversations, he wasn't just my boss he was also a very dear friend always willing to help in any way he could I hope he knew how much I appreciated his friendship R.I.P Loren I'm going to miss him dearly. My condolences go out to Flo, Lee, Linda, Larry , Lois, and the rest of the family Loren was a good man. From

Our deepest sympathy to all the family. We lived on Park St. right next to Walker’s Dry Cleaning building for several years. Loren was always so nice to us and our children, letting them play in his side yard at times. We truly loved him and will miss him. From

My condolences to the entire Teachout family.
I had the pleasure of knowing Loren firstly through his brother-in-law, William Rude and then when he and his wife Florence (Flo as we all called her) joined the Fulton Shirts and Skirts square dance club. I haven't seen him since I relocated to Florida, but still remember the fun we had at the family gatherings and definitely at the square dances.
Rest in Peace my friend.From
