Linda H. LaPrate, 70, of Oswego, NY; died on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at the Oswego Hospital, Oswego, NY. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of late Robert and Thelma Henderson Heistman. She retired from Nationwide Insurance after 20 years.

She was pre-deceased by, her sister, Randy Krupa.

Linda is survived by, her husband of 50 years, Gerald LaPrate; her children, Shannon (Jack) LaPrate-Van Steenburg, Ronald LaPrate, Gerald (Lisa) LaPrate II, Keith LaPrate; six grandchildren, Heather LaPrate, Tiffany (LaPrate) Madina, Nicholas LaPrate, Leah LaPrate, Christopher LaPrate and Danielle H. Beirman; two great-grandchildren, Tristian Madina and Trinity Madina; and her three brothers, Mark Heistman, Rohn Heistman, Kyle Heistman.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico, NY. Spring Interment will be in the Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish, NY. Friends and Family are invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
