Mrs. Young was always so kind to everyone at Palermo. Always greeting students, teachers and parents with a smile. She was a true treasure to our Palermo community and a beautiful person inside and out. I am so sorry I missed paying our respects. Sending love to the entire family. Lila will always hold a very special place in my heart. I have so many cherished memories of time with her- her chuckle, gentle smile, managing the kitchen for picnics, the way she looked at El. To say she was wonderful is an understatement and I am still inspired by the model of her optimistic life. I miss knowing she's in the world, making it better. May she rest in peace with love.
