This obituary is for loving wife and mother, Laura Ruffos, who was very devoted to her family.
Laura passed away on Dec. 31, 2019 in her home surrounded by her family. Laura was 81.
Laura (Balcom) Ruffos was born on April 7, 1938, in St. Charles, Illinois survived by her husband of 60 years, George Ruffos. Her children and their spouses are as follows; Daniel (Patti) Ruffos, Paul (Kris) Ruffos, Michael (Melissa) Ruffos, Laurie (William) Ward, Richard (Sherry) Ruffos, and Linda (Kenneth) Ouderkirk. Also, her grandchildren are, Danyelle, Megan, Taylor, Hannah, Alayna, Sarah, Kira and Konner.
Laura’s siblings are Evelyn Pappa (deceased) and Arlene Barnard.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday January 7, 2020 at 11:00 am from St. Anne, Mother of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 3352 Main Street, Mexico, NY. Spring Interment will be in the Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish, NY. Calling hours will be held on Monday January 6, 2020, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 2983 W. Main Street, Parish, NY.
