Kurt Schott

In Loving Memory of Kurt Schott (11/16/1970-8/25/2023): A man of many talents and passions, Kurt left a legacy that will forever be etched in our hearts. He is survived by his faithful feline companion, Oliver, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Kurt's love for fine cuisine was only surpassed by his love for his family – a devoted son, brother, uncle, great uncle, and cherished friend. As the original "cool uncle," he made an indelible mark on every life he touched.
Kurt's culinary skills were legendary, especially his homemade stretch bread and hot tomato oil – a taste that brought joy to countless gatherings. His ability to unravel the scientific intricacies of any meal was a testament to his voracious appetite for knowledge. With a quote for every occasion from "The Office," he seamlessly blended his love for humor with his quick wit.
For nearly three decades, Kurt thrived in the tech world as an excel wizard. Sarcasm flowed through him like a second language, infusing every interaction with his trademark humor. He was the source of laughter that could light up any room.
Summer afternoons found him on the golf course, chasing that elusive perfect shot, and evenings were incomplete without "Jeopardy!" His guitar skills rocked as fiercely as his heart, showcased during his time with the band "One Hard Krank" in the late '90s – a vision of cool with his trademark long, blonde hair.
Kurt Schott will forever be missed, leaving behind a void that no one else can fill. His love, passion, humor, and wisdom were the building blocks of our cherished memories. As we say goodbye, we hold onto the moments that made us laugh, the meals that warmed our souls, and the tunes that rocked our spirits. Rest in peace, dear Kurt, your legacy lives on in us.
Kurt is predeceased by his parents, Ronald C. and Elma M. (Bellard) Schott, and survived by his siblings, Ronda and Steve Ketcham, Erik and Jann Schott, Mark Schott and Katie Costello, Kelly and Pete Collins, Hope and Sam Cimilluca; nieces and nephews, Sarah, Alissa, John, Angela, Jordan, Nathan, Morgan, Madison, Merin, Charlie, Donna and Denise; and great nephew, Luca.
