Joshua Sky Comins, 19 of Mexico, died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 14, 2019. Born in Syracuse, NY and grew up in Williamstown, NY attending APW schools most of his life and graduated from Mexico Academy in 2018 with a Welding certificate from Citi BOCES.

He touched many lives with his kind heart and free spirit. He was full of life and loved hard and was loyal. He enjoyed outdoor activities like goose and deer hunting as well as fishing. He loved his family and spending time with friends. Was always there to help someone in need and to offer wisdom to encourage others. Regardless of the type of work he did he put in all his effort and enjoyed learning more. He grew up playing sports such as karate, soccer, basketball, football and wrestling; where he would put his own needs aside to be the best for the team. He loved all kinds of music and played the guitar since he was in 4th grade.

Joshua is survived by his mother, Ronda Swecker and step-father Craig Stutler; his father, Jason Comins and step-mother, Jackee David; siblings Julia Star and Savannah Comins; step-sisters, Alyssa and Portia David; Grandparents, John Waterman, Marina and Todd Zender and Bleva Comins; great-grandfather, Gilbert Britton; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins; who loved him dearly.

Funeral Services will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, September 20, 2019 at the Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico, NY. Friends and family are invited to call from 3 to 5 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
