Dear Sharon, Jeff, & Family
The Brilliant One was larger than life. The "Growing Up in Mexico" sessions at the Hamer compound with Jon Hamer and John Holbrook were priceless. He and Sharon were a weekly fixture in our home for decades bringing great joy and laughter each and every time. "His corner" of our porch will forever be that - The John Holbrook corner. He was such a caring, giving and quiet man. However when he raised his voice you knew he meant business and that didn't happen often. I will miss him tremendously as he meant so much to me and my entire family. He holds a special place in my heart. My sincerest condolences go out to each and every one of you. John was one of the good guys.
