Jessie J. (Burr) Strong, 86, of Pulaski, NY; died Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at University Hospital in Syracuse, NY. She was born in Brewerton, NY; daughter of the late Robert Wing and Ethel Simpson. She was a Secretary for Sunaco Gas in Mexico, NY. She was a graduate of Pulaski Academy and Central Schools.

She was pre-deceased by, her son, William A. Burr; and grandson, Michael Parkhurst.

Jessie is survived by, her children, Elizabeth (Butch) Dingman, of Pulaski, NY and David (Rhonda) Burr, of Oswego, NY; six grandchildren, Tonya (Dana) Swenszkowski, Christina (Ted) Bennett, Terri (Jim) Corbett - Bean, Darcie (Jacob) Czapeczka and David Burr, Jr.; seven great-grandchildren, Noah, Taylor, Morgan, Dakota, Keegan, Marina and Harper; and her brother, Harry Wing, of Pulaski, NY.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2019, from the Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico, NY. Interment will be in the New Haven Cemetery, New Haven, NY. Friends and family are invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the funeral home.

There will be a celebration of Jessie's Life to follow Interment, at the Mexico VFW Post #369, 5930 Scenic Avenue, Mexico, NY. All are welcome to attend.
