Jamie M. Smith, 50, passed away at his home Wednesday, October 18, from COPD.

Jamie is survived by his wife Lisa Smith, daughters Hunter Smith (and her daughter Autumn) and Alexis Smith; also, his mother Lorraine Burke and step-father Larry Burke. He leaves behind step-brother Larry Burke Jr. and step-sister Colleen Holliday.

Jamie is predeceased by his father Robin Smith and brother Keith Smith.

Jamie attended high school in Mexico and Oswego. He worked most of his life as a laborer and was a member of CNY Laborers’ Union.

Jamie grew up with a large extended family and enjoyed his time with all his cousins and aunts/uncles. Jamie was a loving, caring husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, nephew and cousin and he will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Jamie’s life will be held at a future date. Arrangements are in care of Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico, NY.
