James G. Dana
March 31, 2021
James G. Dana, 76, of Mexico, NY; passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at St. Joesph's Hospital, Syracuse, NY. He was born in Watertown, NY; son of the late Glenn and Margaret Dana. He worked as a Custodian for the Mexico Academy and Central Schools for 21 years and worked at Walmart for 17 years.
He was pre-deceased by his brother, Norman Dana.
James is survived by, his wife Frances Preeman Dana; his daughter, Kelly Bailey; four step-daughters, Karen Ladd, Sharon Ladd, Judy Wilber and Kathy Geddes; along with 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico, NY. Friends and family are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service.
