And many nieces and nephews that called him Uncle or "Worm". And many, many people called him Friend!

Jim lived most of his life in Mexico where he served in the US Army, foster parented many children, worked for the Cornell Cooperative Extension along with Harter Funeral Home, Inc. He was an avid volunteer for Operation Reindeer, and of course Santa Clause. He was a lifelong camper at Cold Brook Campsites, where he made a close circle of friends.

Just about everyone in Mexico knew Jim and he always had a smile on his face and whistling a tune. If you asked how he was it was always "Fantastic". Everyone that knew him, loved him. He truly was one of the Good Ones!
