Harriet R. (Bloodworth) Giles, 80 of Mexico passed away May 15, 2023 at her home. She was born in Newport Rhode Island, daughter of the late Harry and Ruth Bloodworth. She was employed by Safeway in Colorado as a cashier. She was a lifetime member of Salvation Army. She was a devoted Christian and enjoyed proclaiming Jesus. She enjoyed crafts and especially her family.

Harriet is predeceased by Harley Giles and her grandson Louis.

Harriet is survived by her children, Tammie (Wayne) Myers, Connie Steinkamp, Thomas Litzsinger, John Litzsinger (Nickie); her grandchildren, Jaret (Hannah), Austin, Ashley, Josiah, Carissa, Henry; her great-grandchildren, Jackson, Grayson and Riley; and her siblings, Janice, Mary (Cecil), Alice (Rod) and Henry (Gail).

Graveside services to be held at the Littleton cemetery in Littleton, CO on July 3, 2023; at 10 a.m with a celebration of life to follow. Arrangements are in care of Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico NY.
