Obituary for Harold D. Zents

IN LOVING MEMORY
HAROLD D. ZENTS
October 4, 2020

Harold D. Zents, 92, of Central Square, NY; died on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at his home. He was born in Strongsville, OH, son of the late Chester and Alberta Zents. He worked as a Supervisor at Davis-Fetch Acoustical Corp. and Carpenters Local #277, Syracuse, NY. He was a member of the CNY Rod and Gun Club and a life member of the Mad River Club and the South Shore Association.

Harold was a US Army Veteran, serving as an MP. He was a member of the Cicero American Legion Post #787. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing and trap shooting. He proudly shared his knowledge of the outdoors with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed trips to the Casino with his wife, June and family.

He was pre-deceased by his parents and his sister, Helen.

Harold is survived by, his wife, June L. Boyke Zents; his daughters, Lori M. (Dave) Bierwagen and Deborah A. Wallace; son Thomas H. (Mary) Zents; his grandchildren, Ashley (Bob) Sage, Thomas (Courtney) Zents, Jr., Taylor (Brandon) Bierwagen, Jamie Wallace, Bryce Wallace and Kyle Zents; great-grandchildren, Lily McElhannon and Brody Sage and his sister, Carol Durham.

Friends and family are invited to calling hours from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with Private Funeral Services to follow on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico, NY.
