Gertrude “Trudy” Fox Vitullo, 92, of Oswego, NY; died peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at her home. She was born in Jacksonville, NC daughter of the late Martin Luther and Lubbie Gainey. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Andrew Michaud Nursing Home in Fulton, NY and a member of the Lycoming United Methodist Church. Trudy was an avid bridge player. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family and enjoying special family occasions.

She was pre-deceased by, her first husband, Carroll Fox in 1977, and her grandson, Hunter Fox in 2015.

Trudy is survived by her husband Ronald Vitullo, her three sons, John (Patty) Fox, Daniel (Mary) and Ernest (Sandy) Fox; her six grandchildren, Carolee (Luke) McCoy, Sarah (Dan) Mack, Johnny (Danielle) Fox, Jr., Barbi (Matt) Stone, Dani (Ryan) Nellis and Alden Fox; eight great-grandchildren; her step-son, Randy Vitullo; two step-grandchildren; and four step-great grandchildren and three sisters, Eloise, Velma and Peggy.

Funeral Services will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, November 25, 2019 from the Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico, NY. Spring Interment will be in the North Scriba Union Cemetery. Friends and Family are invited to call from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home prior to the service. Following the service, all are welcome and invited to a reception in Trudy’s Honor at the Mexico VFW Edick Hamlink Post #369, 5931 Scenic Avenue, Mexico, NY.
