George H. Hermann, 85, of Mexico, NY; died on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Seneca Hill Manor. He was born in Kybarten, Lithuania, son of the late Waldemar and Ida Unterberger Hermann. He was a US Army Veteran, serving from 1954-1956, in Puerto Rico during the Korean War. George was a much loved Bus Driver for the Mexico school district for over 25 years. He was the Owner Operator of the Scenic Drive–In and Scenic Variety in Mexico. He enjoyed going to auctions, always looking for a deal. He was also a food vendor at many Oswego County Auctions. He loved spending time with his family, and was always ready to lend a hand, with a smile. His love for music, dancing, and his infectious smile brought joy to all.

George is survived by, his four children, Paul (Gina) Hermann, Kathy Corey, Richard Hermann and Shawn (Cheryl) Hermann; two step-children, Jennifer (Chris) Miller and Susan Knight; 8 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be at a time to be announced. Arrangements are in care of the Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico, NY.
