Galen "Butch: Dingman, 70 of Pulaski NY, passed away on Tuesday June 28, 2022, at his home surrounded, by family. He was born March 19, 1952 in Oswego NY to the late Galen and Rosemarie (Caloren) Dingman.

Butch was a long-term member of the Mexico Volunteer Fire Department and a Vietnam Veteran. When his daughters were young he was also very active in the Mexico Community Softball league where he coached and umpired for many years. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, playing guitar, coin collecting and spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also loved his fur baby Zoey. He spent most of his last days in bed watching tv with her.

He is predeceased by his son Michael Parkhurst and his sisters Rosalie Powers and Diane Lamphear.

Butch is survived by his wife of 49 years, Elizabeth Dingman; sister, Yvonne Fredette, of Fulton, NY; brothers, Ron Dingman, of Converse, TX and Ricky (Tabitha) Dingman, of Fulton, NY. He is also survived by his three daughters Tonya (Dana) Swenszkowski, of Russellville, AR, Christina (Ted) Bennett of Altmar, NY and Terri (James) Corbett-Bean of Pulaski, NY; his grandchildren, Noah (Morgan) Gerbig, Taylor (Preston) Gerbig, Morgan (Luke) Bennett, Dakota (Jordan) Corbett-Bean, Keegan (Hayley) Corbett-Bean and Marina Bennett; his great-grandchildren, Brysyon, Haisleigh and Braylin; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from Harter Funeral Home, Inc. Mexico, NY. Interment will follow in at South Richland (Willis) Cemetery 59 Manwaring Rd. Pulaski, NY. Relatives and Friends are invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at the funeral home.
