Ernest R. Jones, 78, of New Haven, NY; died Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse, NY. He was born in New Haven, son of the late Ulysses and Stella Sudel Jones. He was employed with the Oswego County Highway Department.

Ernest is survived by, his sister, Margie (Richard) Niles, of Mexico, NY; brother, Richard (Virginia) Jones, of Liverpool and his children, James (Karen) Jones of Alphraetta, GA and Cheryl (Mike) Clary, of Cicero, NY; brother, Roger (Marlene) Jones, of Mexico, NY and his daughter, Amy (Dennis) Shaw, of Mexico, NY.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico, NY. Spring Interment will be in the New Haven Cemetery. Friends and Family are invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. Following the service, there will be a reception held at the Mexico VFW Edick-Hamlink Post #369, 5931 Scenic Avenue, Mexico, NY.
