Obituary for Enrique S. "Rick" Valenzuela

Enrique "Rick" S. Valenzuela, 88, of Mexico, NY, passed away Monday surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Rancagua, Chile and came to the United States in 1951 at the age of 21. He volunteered to serve in the US Army from 1952 - 1954 in the Korean War as a machinist. He became a U.S. citizen in 1955. He worked for General Motors for 28 years as a machine repair/machinist before retiring. He will forever be remembered for his sense of humor, smile and caring nature.
Rick will be greatly missed by his wife of 59 years, Suzanne; two sons, Terry (Diana) of Arlington, Tx, and Ricky of Phoenix, Az; three daughters, Monika (Scott) of Scriba, NY, Veronika (Frank) of Santa Fe, Tx, and Jessika of Parish, NY; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and his extended family in Chile, S.A.. He was predeceased by two daughters, Erika and Jacquelyn.
